At 8 months Mya continues to make me smile!
After learning to get up on her hands and knees she went right on to doing something even more exciting...
I love it when she does this sweet move!
Another big thing for this little sweetie is enjoying floor time! She is getting more and more independent as time goes on and is learning that there is more fun to be had OFF mommas lap!
...And doing a little of this! I love taking walks with my family around beautiful Bear River City!
Brit, the kids, and Hope came to stay a night in Logan. We had a blast shopping and trying to fit everything else important in! Both Belle and Qiana are always so sweet to Mya and I think this picture just says it all!
The cousins got plenty of time to play and play some more. I think it is the beginnings of a beautiful friendship! Don't you!?Enjoying more floor time, and sitting on toys! That can't be comfortable! But who knows maybe the diaper is actually a multi purpose tool!
Mya has decided her crib is a play-pen. Even if she is on the verge of sleep and I lay her down she will get this surge of energy! I usually leave her there to see what will happen, hoping she will fall back to sleep on her own! What usually ends up happening goes something like this...roll over, crawl and tip over camera monitor, bounce around, make noises! I walked in after a short silence and found a happy girl covered in blanket!!
She is full of surprises...she could be asleep, or then again she could be awake just playing around! Either way it makes me smile!!!
We also had such blast with my really good friend Malissa, her hubby Chris and their cute little girl Hallie! They invited us out on their boat for some very much enjoyed water sports (my fav)! We always have so much fun with them and always wish we could get together more often!
The Pearsons all got together and headed to a horse ranch nearby where the grandkids could enjoy some animal LOVIN'! It was really fun to watch all the kids have a good time...myself included! Isn't she a natural!
Anna and Mya, cousins & friends! And just 1 week apart!
Here is a hat to go with that pony! She has a runny nose and no clothes on...who is her mother!?!
Hope, Mya and I made the drive to Emmett! And boy was it worth it!! Again we shopped, ate, cared for kiddies, cleaned, had fun, had funner, and had funnest!
Ford was already there and he was the biggest help with the kids, ALL THE TIME! I think he had fun too!? We only went shopping a couple of times...plus you got a frosty right?
T-shirt jammies are the best! Farewell Emmett, we'll be back!
A weekend spent in Logan is rare so we decided to go swimming!!!
Becky came and brought her kids Pearce, Lillee, and Jack! It was a lot of fun in the sun!
Wow! Doesn't she look big in this chair all by herself! Normally she is on our lap or in her carseat if we go out to eat. So I was so excited to see her in her own seat, and so was she!! She is my Little, Big girl!
Grandma and Grandpa P. came and had dinner with the Rasmussens! Meanwhile down the road at their house..this was happening...
It wasn't windy very long, but just long enough to blow down a third of this huge tree! Luckily it missed the house, boat, and truck that could have been crushed!!!
I just can't get enough!
